On December 1, an online meeting with Priory Integrated College, England, took place at Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Aktobe.
Ninth graders from both of the schools met on December 1, 2020 via Cisco WebEx and discussed teen lifestyle topics that included daily routines, typical diet, and extracurricular activities. This meeting served as the first introductory discussion before considering other curriculum-related topics from biology and project work.
The main purpose of this meeting was to collect information in the form of interviews and surveys between students as a preparatory stage for conducting mini-research.
The participants were divided into teams and had an opportunity to discuss the similarities and differences in lifestyles and approaches to healthcare in England and Kazakhstan. Both groups of students were happy to meet each other and speak English.
The participants were very involved and expressed their gratitude for organizing the event in the end of the conference.

On May 21, at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics, Aktobe, a second online meeting with Priory integrated College, England, took place.
At the second stage of cooperation, the students presented project work, data for which had been collected during the first meeting dedicated to the similarities and differences in lifestyles between England and Kazakhstan.
The goal of the partnership was to explore biology topics by comparing the lifestyles of adolescents in the two countries and presenting the findings in the form of mini-research.
The projects were interesting, the learners discovered many interesting features about each of the countries, unusual for their own culture, which became a sure sign of achieving the set goal.
