Republican competition for journalists “Education in a new reality”

The purpose of the competition:
– information support of the Kazakh school in the new reality: ⠀
– global trends in modern education; ⠀
– integration of the best domestic traditions and international experience; ⠀
– translation of the professional achievements of specific teachers and collectives into the country’s secondary education; ⠀
– transformation of the teacher’s mission in the digital age and the age of artificial intelligence;
– successful cooperation between school and family, creating a safe and child-friendly environment. ⠀

Journalists from regional, republican and foreign newspapers, websites, portals, radio companies, TV channels, news agencies, as well as freelance journalists can take part in the competition. ⠀

Terms of the competition ⠀
⠀
NIS holds a republican competition for journalists specializing in educational topics every three years. ⠀
⠀
In 2021, analytical materials published or aired in Kazakh and foreign media from June 1, 2018 to June 1, 2021 are accepted for the competition. ⠀

The first stage is the acceptance of materials ⠀
(from May 25 to June 15, 2021) ⠀
⠀
The second stage is summing up ⠀
(from 15 to 20 June 2021) ⠀
⠀
Third stage – awarding the winners ⠀
(from 20 to 28 June 2021) ⠀
⠀

According to the results of the competition, ten winners and ten laureates in various nominations will be named. ⠀
⠀
In honor of the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh scientist and teacher Ibray Altynsarin, a special nomination “Shamshyrak” is established. ⠀
⠀
All winners and laureates will be awarded with diplomas, valuable prizes, souvenirs with the symbols of the competition. ⠀
⠀
Terms of the competition ⠀

Materials of various genres are accepted for the competition – articles, essays, analytical reviews, interviews (the volume of printed materials should not exceed 12,000 characters). ⠀

Materials are accepted in Kazakh, Russian and English. ⠀
⠀
Materials published or aired in regional, republican or international media must be submitted to the competition. Authors of printed materials must provide originals and screen shots of articles (with the title of the publication, date of publication), Internet publications – screen shots and links (with the name of the media, date of publication), radio and television materials – on electronic media, as well as a screen -shots and links (with the name of the media, the date of airing). ⠀

The publications submitted for the competition are not reviewed or returned. ⠀
⠀
Materials are accepted until 18.00 by the time of the city of Nur-Sultan on June 15, 2021. ⠀
