Andrey Timonin, a student of NIS Aktobe, received an educational grant from KBTU

Andrey Timonin, a student of the 11th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktobe, received an invitation to the Kazakh-British Technical University. His work was included among the best projects in the final of the “Caspian Startup-2021” competition. The student created a website for consumers of renewable energy sources, which collects meteorological data from all weather stations in the country. The project, which promotes the production of natural clean energy that does not harm the environment, is called “MeteoHelper”. The head is a physics teacher Mirat Ospanov.

– To get to the final of the contest “Caspian Startup-2021″ means that my project has a great future. The use of alternative energy is a trend in the world, which is also aimed at by Kazakhstanis. Since my project is based on renewable energy sources, I am sure that in the future it will become a company that will install wind turbines and solar panels and work to make them part of our daily life. I was also very pleased to receive an educational grant from the best technical university in the country, ” says Andrey Timonin.

It should be noted that “Caspian Startup” is an author’s project of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktau. 89 projects were submitted to the court of the competition commission, assembled from experts and entrepreneurs – young developers from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan took part. 15 works passed to the final of the competition.
